The big bathroom projects were finished but the area above the shower just felt lonely next to all the happiness surrounding it. So I found the perfect peel and stick tiles that made it feel custom and complete.

For this bathroom makeover, I had already painted the vanity, installed wallpaper, hung antique-inspired mirrors, and swapped out the light fixtures. But every time I walked into the room, my eyes went straight to the old builder-grade faucets. They just didn’t match the personality of the space anymore.

It was finally time for an upgrade.

Finally finished! So beyond in love with this dining room makeover.

After the fabric frustration of Week 5, this week felt like a total win—I finally finished the bottom cushion cover for the bench and upholstered the back cushion. Let’s just say: sewing machines were humming, staples were flying, and it finally feels like the room is coming together.

This wallpaper is a traditional paste-the-wall style, and I used my go to- Roman Pro 880 strippable wallpaper paste to make it anxiety-friendly and easy to take down if I ever want to change it. It’s going above the bench, nestled between my two IKEA Besta shelves, and I knew from the start that the pattern needed to feel intentional in such a focal spot.

Week 5 didn’t go quite as planned but my table and chairs are here!!

This week was all about bringing the bench seat to life! I’ve been dreaming about this cozy nook since the start of the project, and seeing it finally start to take shape is so satisfying.
