For this bathroom makeover, I had already painted the vanity, installed wallpaper, hung antique-inspired mirrors, and swapped out the light fixtures. But every time I walked into the room, my eyes went straight to the old builder-grade faucets. They just didn’t match the personality of the space anymore.

It was finally time for an upgrade.

Why I Chose the Lulani Capri Faucet

I wanted a faucet that felt modern without looking trendy, something with clean lines that would still have a timeless feel years from now.

The Lulani Capri faucet in Champagne Gold checked every box.

The geometric design gives it a bold, architectural look, while the warm gold finish pairs beautifully with the other brass accents throughout the bathroom. Instead of competing with the wallpaper and mirrors, it complements them and ties the entire vanity together.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest impact.

Installation Was Easier Than Expected

One of the things I appreciated most was how straightforward the installation was.

After shutting off the water supply, I disconnected and removed the old faucets. The new Lulani faucet dropped right into the existing three-hole configuration, making it an easy replacement without any modifications to the countertop.

From there, I secured the faucet underneath the sink, connected the included water supply lines, and installed the matching pop-up drain assembly. Having those components included meant I didn’t have to make an extra trip to the hardware store searching for compatible parts. A huge win for any DIY project.

Once everything was connected, I slowly turned the water back on and checked all of the connections for leaks before giving the faucet a final wipe down.

The Difference a Faucet Can Make

It’s funny how replacing a faucet can completely change the feel of a bathroom.

What was once a basic builder-grade vanity now feels custom and thoughtfully designed. The clean silhouette, warm Champagne Gold finish, and substantial feel make the entire space look more elevated. The whole vanity are just flows together now.

When you’re planning a bathroom renovation, it’s easy to focus on the big projects like paint, tile, or wallpaper. But don’t overlook the fixtures! They are something you interact with every single day, and they have a huge impact on the finished look.

This bathroom makeover has been a collection of DIY projects, and every upgrade has helped transform the space into something that finally feels like me. Installing the Lulani Capri faucets was one of the final pieces of the puzzle, and it brought everything together.

If you’re looking for a simple upgrade that delivers a big visual payoff, swapping out your bathroom faucet is one of the best places to start. It’s a manageable DIY project that can completely refresh your vanity and your entire bathroom.
