Tile Sticker Update- 3 months later.

It’s been three months since I installed these tile stickers from Bleucoin. I was OBSESSED. You can see the install post here if you missed it.

After two weeks, the sticker in front of the toilet kept coming off because I live with little boys who can’t aim. Ahem, gross. So, I would have to clean the tile, clean the sticker, let it dry and then stick it back down. It wasn’t working. And it was gross. So I decided to glue each corner with Krazy glue and seal the edges of each sticker with clear silicone.

That worked. It worked! It even held up to Cheeto the cat knocking over a plant and the cleanup that entailed.

Fast forward three months and the only sticker I’m having an issue with is one right up against the tub. I’m not sure if I just didn’t get the silicone on the edges well or what, but it’s not staying down and water is collecting under it. I’ve redone the silicone there so we will see how it does now.

My verdict? I wish they had a bit more sticking power for the price tag. You can check out my Instagram video review here.

Maybe they would do better in a less used space or in a powder room with less moisture. But I do love how they look and they should be fine until I am ready to renovate this bathroom fully.
