One Room Challenge Week 8: Reveal

My first One Room Challenge is COMPLETE!

I'm so excited to have finished the hallway and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. Make sure to check out all the other designers HERE!

This week, I did the last stencil provided by Cutting Edge Stencils. I used Behr Canyon Dusk for this one which is the same color I used on my painted Arch in the living room. I love being able to use the same or similar colors throughout the house to keep everything cohesive.

Once that stencil was dry, I took two different accent colors, Glidden Coffee Rose and Glidden Mecca Gold and added in some little details. I also decided that I didn't love the pink baseboards once it was all finished so I painted them white and it was definitely the right call.

I didn't want to add in too much extra decor because I thought it would make it too busy BUT this little gold mirror is perfect in this spot. I love looking into different rooms from the hallway now and seeing how it all ties in.

SO. Did I win you over with the snakes?

Thank you so much to Better Homes and Gardens for hosting such an inspiring challenge and to the companies who gifted me with supplies for this hallway makeover.
